Positions Available 
Sales Executives based in Boston, Philadelphia or NYC
We are seeking Sales Executives that meet either of two profiles, those with at least five years experience selling into the financial services or medical marketplace or those who have at least two years experience selling solutions into the corporate or higher education marketplace and at least five years experience in broadcast media. The Sales Executive candidate must be able to sell the value of a service offering, communicate effectively with C- level executives, show proven sales success and is a team player. We need Sales Executives who are coachable and hungry.
 
Marketing/Demand Generation Coordinator

The Demand Generation Coordinator is responsible for developing and nurturing leads for VideoLink’s sales team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Demand Generation Coordinator will design, develop, and implement email campaigns, blogs, sales collateral, webcasts, and events to produce a consistent pipeline of qualified leads. All campaigns will be managed, tracked, and measured using Salesforce CRM. Other tasks may include researching prospective companies and making sales calls. The Demand Gen Coordinator will also maintain the VideoLink events calendar and manage logistics for external trade shows and company sponsored events. 

 

The candidate should have 1-3 years experience in lead generation, marketing or events coordination and strong oral communication skills.

Satellite Truck Operator (Philadelphia or Maryland)

Responsible for the day-today operation of VideoLink's KU band uplink vehicles. Operator must maintain thorough knowledge of KU band transmission and theory, video equipment operation, understanding of live news reporting and mobile video production. Specific responsibilities are broken down into following areas:

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Satellite Transmission

  • Ability to deploy the antenna and rapidly locate and identify commonly used satellites in North America.
  • Operate an antenna controller and read a spectrum analyzer
  • Thoroughly understand the redundant modulators, encoder, exciters, TWTA's and power combiner in the vehicle.


Equipment Operation

  • Thorough understanding of all on-board equipment , including RF system, AC and DC power systems, intercom system, baseband audio and video gear, router system, telephone system, analog and digital video theory, tape machine and formats that are utilized by broadcast and corporate clients.


Troubleshooting

  • Ability to quickly ascertain problems that arise in field production scenarios.
  • Ability to rapidly find work-arounds to catastrophic problems
  • Ability to field service failed equipments, and working with the Engineering department keeping the truck in satisfactory running condition.


Driving

  • Maintain a clean driving record, ensure the security of the vehicle at all times.
  • Maintain a DOT logbook, Knowledge of the Northeast US interstate system, and familiarity of DOT rules and regulations as they pertain to driving a 26,000 GWVR


Schedule & Availability

  • Operator availability is based on an on-call, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week schedule.
  • Specific operator time off must be scheduled two weeks in advance to allow scheduling of a replacement by the Director of Operations.
  • An approved Time Off Request form must be submitted prior to taking scheduled time off


Operation Scenarios

  • Service live and tape based crews in breaking news situations, sporting events, corporate event coverage, and the transmission of guests to television networks.


Communication

  • Must communicate with the Remote Operations Manager on a daily basis with regard to job assignments and ensure that call times and job details are clearly understood and adhered to
  • Operator must complete Remote Operations Report immediately following job and deliver or fax the following day back to Remote Operations Manager.
  • When highly critical or complex operations are involved, working with Field Operations


Truck Maintenance

  • Care and maintenance of the KU truck to which the operator is assigned.
  • Preventative maintenance, including engine oil change every 7.000 miles, generator oil changes every 150 hours. Upkeep, washing and overall operation of the vehicle.
  • Keep log of all scheduled service
  • Producing a safe and covered area in which to house the vehicle, within 35 miles of the local VideoLink Bureau.
