Case studies - Make A Wish - Documentary Film Production

The Job: The Make A Wish foundation contacted VideoLink to request our help in making a wish come true. 
 
With the help of the Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and VideoLink Michelle Katz was able to complete her wish to film and produce a documentary, Define Normal. Michelle Kats has been fighting renal kidney failure for the greater part of her young life. Throughout her life-long medical battle the eighteen year old has become a teacher and an advocate for other children who are or will be experiencing kidney transplants and dialysis. Michelle’s wish was to continue her legacy by chronicling her life experiences in a documentary video production.
 
VideoLink donated all the resources in order to help make this broadcast a Telly Award winning documentary video production and provide Michelle with an experience she would never forget.  The VideoLink team volunteered their individual talents to help make Michelle’s wish come true. From the producing and scripting through to the final edits, these volunteers were vested in the completion of Define Normal.
 
VideoLink was extremely pleased to play a role in this Make A Wish project.  More importantly, we were able to help Michelle continue her legacy.
