The Job: The 90-year-old Boston Children’s Museum completed their 40 million dollar expansion and came to VLCreative for their expertise. They needed to create an exciting and memorable HD video production that would highlight the new addition. The VLCreative team assembled celebrities including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Ming Tsai, Keith Lockhart, Mayor Thomas Menino and more to come into the museum and experience, first hand, the unique learning and exploring adventures at the museum…and be a kid again themselves. VLC’s video production concept truly transformed each celebrity into a kid by casting child “look-a-likes” to play their younger counterparts. Audiences were delighted to see their favorite celebrities turning into kids right before their eyes while moving through all the activities at the museum. Shot in high definition, the promotional video production was launched at the Museum’s reopening gala and has since been distributed internationally as a fundraising tool.
